Floyd would of straight out duck him.
So you're saying that Mosley has benefited and his stock has raised by being out for the whole year? Some people need to quit posting on this web site, I swear.

His stock hasn't been raised but him beating P-Will and looking good at doing it wouldn't help him either. That's the reason he didn't get a big money fight this summer cuz he looked too good destroying Margarito. Him looking impressive against a freak of nature like P-Will. Will definitely make Pac or Mayweather avoid him more. How can you disagree with that?

But, I think the whole year off benefited him in resting his body. He is not in his prime anymore. He is getting up there in age. And, a rest might help his career be even longer. IMO that is how B-Hop is still going strong cuz he benefited from long rest. Fighting once a year was good him and his body. So it might also be good for Mosley and his body.

I don't know what p-will's exact height is, but I know for sure that he is at least 6'3.5
Good point... I was going off the Boxrec stats, but by all means he could be taller, even.

I think anything over half a foot more reach from the armpit to the end of the fist is an unfair advantage.

Are there ways to trump the advantage? sure. But if you take two guys, with equal skills, equal athleticism heart and dedication, and give one guy more reach.,

        Reach wins all day.

Mosley did look bad against Mayorga and then Margarito decided to fight him, so I guess I understand what you're saying.

So again when are you too tall to be a featherweight or when do you have to much of a reach advantage to be a Flyweight?

Why? Paul Williams has nothing to gain by beating a guy who lost his last fight. Clottey's name is so over used. And even if he did fight Clottey that has nothing to do with whether he will get a fight with the "elite" He is the elite.

I mean it sucks that it has to be that way but is the truth. When did Leonard fight Hagler? When he saw Hagler struggle with Mugabi. It sucks that it works out like that sometimes.

It would never be anything official. Making weight is making weight. Throwing in height restrictions would over complicate an already complicated system.

But, I can reserve my applause. A big tall guy with miles of reach that puts on 15-20 lbs between weigh ins and fight night, beating down on comparative midgets, doesn't impress me all that much.
