But, I can reserve my applause. A big tall guy with miles of reach that puts on 15-20 lbs between weigh ins and fight night, beating down on comparative midgets, doesn't impress me all that much.
That is why I am asking for your opinion. Since you not in favor of him fighting at 147. When is it too tall to at 130? When is your reach too long at 108? When are you too short to be a WW?

lol... let me consult passage 56-I Roman Numeral VI of my rewritten boxing Codex to answer...
Seriously though, I don't have a scaled system mapped out for you....
But P Dub has an unfair advantage at WW. That's why none of the top talent even think about fighting him.. I will say I would respect anyone that did fight him from 147 a whole hell of a lot.
But I just don't see it happening, unless P Dub raises public demand for a top WW to actually face him, cuz, as of right now that demand is very low, except from purists.

Since Thomas Hearns had some of the same advantages, do you think he should not be rated as a great welterweight either?

Beating Pavlik would have given Paul access to just about any fight he wanted. As the only decent white American fighter around, he's still a posterboy at HBO. It's a shame Kelly is such a gigantic ***** nowadays. The guys in his corner put the battery in his back and he really believed he was unstoppable. The shock of reality was too much for him. Now he's somewhat ruined, but Paul deserves to take that those belts and that spot away from him.

Why the **** is everyone saying Williams doesn't belong at 147? If the guy can ****ing make weight then he belongs there and he beats the **** out of everyone there.
