If Ward wins the super 6, i think calzaghe would fancy that fight.

Problem is if Joe, at 38 came out of retirement and beat ward, pps would say Wards prime finished in the last fight of the super 6 and that he was shot when joe beat him, so there isn't much point.

you cant go from first title shot to shot in 2-3 years. You can lose fighs but that does not mean u r shot. Styles make fights kessler will never beat ward because he refuses to fight outside his conventional box. but kessler is not shot he will beat froch and still have a successful career btw calzaghe did not beat kessler that bad at all, and kess still has a soul

Nope, Joe didn't do anything. Joe was just overrated and Kessler slightly. Joe's defining win wasn't cracked up to what people think it was that's all!!!

Calzaghe really hurt Kessler in like round 9 or 10 when the ref gave kessler more time to recuperate. As the saying goes its the first loss that changes a fighter for the better or the worse. I think it may have hurt Kessler's confidence but not taken his soul.

Calzaghe IMHO needed to fight Dawson before his career ended instead of Roy Jones Jr who had already been KOD by Tarver and Johnson.
