Ward's style had everything to do with the way Kessler performed on saturday.

Kessler's problem was his inability to adapt, he is very one dimensional, though good at what he does.

He never seemed to be able to turn it into a fight, and I simply could not belive that Ward was beating him up up close with the dirty stuff, If ward can do that to him, how is he going to handle the bigger, stronger froch doing the same stuff?

Not that it really matters but I disagree with most posters in this thread, I'm not so sure it's that Joe took his 'soul' but it was not just ward's style(plus the biased ref) but I didn't see any effort in the Dane sisne the opening bell when Kessler actually established his jab it was much more competitive(few and far between though).. you could see signs in his match in september(against I cant remember) that something was off with Kessler, he is or was a much better fighter than what we saw last night and september, but I'm not so sure we will ever see him the same.. also Kessler offerd much more effort against Cal despite Cal beating him the entire fight like Ward did last night
