I said this a while ago and still think it would put a damper on Ellerbe's antics. ESPN should do a national poll to ask who the nation would rather see in a fight and who the nation thinks should get a bigger piece of the pie. HBO is showing the replay tonight and several other times so most people will get to see the action. This will remedy the situation of only "true" boxing fans seeing them in action as moderate fans and non-fans will be able to view Pac in action. Let the public vote instead of Ellerbe shouting junk.

Just because Floyd is hated does not mean he's not the bigger draw!!!! Yes, everyone loves Pac, but Floyd's numbers are bigger in fights, like with Hatton and De La Hoya because everyone wants to see him lose.

A lot of people will buy May-Pac because they want to see Floyd get knocked out, and that will be their only reason. To me, that is drawing power.

If Floyd wants to fight, Roach has a great idea-10,000,000 each, the winner gets the diff. PAC will walk right through him. Of course Gay Boy Floyd needs a hell of alot more than10m. He is broke. Floyd, you your wack job dad and woman beater uncle have one more meaningful fight before you fight for paenuts again. Shut your big fat mouth, take the deal and let's see what you got. Your best days are over.
PBF isn't a bigger star,he sells more PPV in his own country.Period!!!

And people buy his fights when they think somebody might be able to kick his ass, prayin to see PBF gettin his first loss.

PBF is an american star,Manny a world wild star.Manny is known in whole Asia(near half of this ****in world),PBF isn't at all.

Manny is even more known in south america and in our europeans countries except UK.

But the PPV money is in US,so PBF sells more. And not that much.

Here's the rub: Ellerbe points out to BoxingScene that Pacquiao had a good dance partner in Cotto and Mayweather did not in Marquez, who has never really been a big pay-per-view draw.

"When it comes to Marquez, even though he is a great fighter, he has had no success fighting on pay-per-view,"

What happened to "Marquez have a country behind him, a country!!

pac is well known in mexico, all of asia (asia is ****in huge and has way more people than the USA), he slaughtered hatton in 2 (where it took floyd 10)...

pac is an international superstar... floyd is a c-list celebrity on the west coast.

uh... no... floyd is a c-list celebrity

all those uk fans came out to watch hatton fight floyd... not to what floyd fight hatton.

Outside of his home country Pac is less popular in the mainstream than Floyd.

Floyd will sell this fight, he is the one with the big mouth who knows what to say and do to cause interest.

I seen a kid today at the mall wearing a "ChaMPion" shirt with a boxing glove on it.

You all know who MP is.

Manny is getting ****ing huge, people are talking about him everywhere.

If you add feelings and emotions into u can say pac deserves 50/50 but when it comes down to business and logic PBF gets the bigger cut just like it made since when PBF fought Oscar. I am fans of both PBF and Pac. But to be honest go to Boxrec.net and look at their records PBF has more notable wins than Pac it's no way to escape it. They are both great fighters. I would break it down like this Pac is more exciting and PBF is more skilled it's the difference between Ali and Tyson. They are both living legends people need to stop been so emotionally drawn in like these fighters are paying them or something to hate on another fighter just look at the facts.
pac is huge internationally especially in mexico and asia.

Now is Roach doesn't decide the money split? That is a double standard... But, I don't care this fight is not happening anyways so is whatever.
No roach does not speak for manny on financial matters the same way roger doesnt speak for floyd. Roach was simply stating that he thinks 50/50 is the only way the fight happens which i agree with. Arum and Koncz speak for manny and ellerbe, haymon, and schaeffer will speak for floyd. Roachs comments were just an opinion on what gets the fight made. No double standard here. if roger said it should be 50/50 i would say the same thing. If arum or ellerbe or one of the others say theyll accept that offer than it will be fact.

Was Mayweather the one saying he didn't fight Cotto because he is not a PPV star and can't draw flies?

Now team Mayweather is saying that Cotto is a PPV star?

Lolz Does Floyd remember that 90% of his PPV were bought by Mexicans/Latinos?

This is true and more people watch Floyd to see him lose than win unfortunately. I guess that is his strategy, play a fool and get hated on but don't complain when people hate you though.
