It doesn't matter if you believe I am wrong 'seebert'! Golden Boy has co-promotion rights to Pacman. They were part of the promotion for his fight with Cotto. Any fight for Pacman, and GB will be involved. Now with Floyd Jr., they have the 'representation' angle going for them as well but Golden Boy Promotions is involved from the promotional aspect.
And regarding Pacman having trouble making weight, I think that's Roach doing what he does best, and that is laying a smoke screen. If that were true, he wouldn't fight so hard for the catchweights. I think Pac could get to 140-142 pretty easily however the bigger fights are at 147, therefore you state he is a stong natural welterweight to get the public talking...Comment

There's a lot of things that go on in setting up a fight of this magnitude. It's not as easy as two guys stepping in the ring and punching each other's face. A lot of money involved. Did they even mention a location for the fight? It seems like the new Texas Stadium is a great idea. With those huge video screens I think they can make a killing if they filled the stadium. May 1st can't come fast enough.Comment
