  • Mayweather-Pacquiao For May 1: Heavy Talks To Start

Golden Boy Promotions CEO Richard Schaefer flies to Las Vegas to begin negotiations with Top Rank promoter Bob Arum over lunch on Monday (Tuesday in Manila) in an effort to reach an agreement on a battle royale between reigning pound-for-pound king Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather Jr who held that title before he retired two years ago. Thats good.

I was in the barber-shop today and everyone was discussing this fight. Everyone is picking Floyd to win because he probably has more to lose. If Mayweather Jr loses then ppl will forget about what he has accomplished in this sport. If Manny loses, ppl won't forget he battered Cotto, Hatton, Oscar, Barrera around.

Did you see Mannys face after the Cotto fight? He needs time to relax heal. The dude took a bit of damage, even though he made it look easy it sure the hell wasn't easy for him. That is what boxers do, so Floyd could wipe the floor with Manny and win every single round but that does not mean it was an easy fight for Floyd. Atleast thats how I see things in boxing. I hope Pacquiao wins, but I don't see it happening, I live in reality not dreams.

They need several months to promote the fight right.
