        You're just talking about his extra 2 lbs weight, but you failed talking about gainning 2 inches in height in just a year! There was no excuses at all, he said he can not make that weight anymore that's why he decided to vacate his title, rather than drained himself to the limit then have that excuse of been weight drained! Good decision for Sonsona and wishing him luck at Bantamweight!

          We saw this with Julio Caesar Garcia (who turned out to be heartless but anyway)

          He went from being a 5'7 Lightweight at 19 years old to being a 6'0 tall middleweight/supermiddleweight 3 years later.......

              good for marvin, he is stepping up to the plates. 118 is a tough weight to be in, the kid is 19.
