That goes to show that Roach has a full understanding that Mayweather deserves the bigger cut.Comment

i would lose the little respect i have for floyd if he ******* his way out of this fight.
he has no reason to say no. he will make tons of money, would be again in the spotlight (which he loves), and has another chance to shut his critics.
im starting to think he really cares for that "0" too much. more than his legacy.Comment

You really think that the most lucrative one-night event in the U.S. this year based on earnings is a failure?
i cant grasp your logic when you say 1 million is larger than 1.25 million.
seriously.Comment

these "casuals" are obviously interested in mayweather seeing as they've made him the biggest ppv attraction in the sport. sorry but you're bringing up irrelevancies and speculation - the tangible evidence we have points to mayweather being worth more money as an individual than manny pacquiao
1m against juan manuel marquez is better than 1.25m against miguel cotto, especially considering the way each fight was promoted.
according to the report:
pac/cotto did 1.25 million pay-per-views
floyd/jmm did 1.05 million pay-per-views
add to that the fact that pac/cotto was priced higher than floyd/jmm and pac/cotto sold out and they didn't have to hand out any free tickets, plus pac/cotto didn't fall on a holiday, nor did pac/cotto have 6 months of promotion... adding all this up, means floyd will have to bow down to 50/50 or even 55/45 in favor of pac.Comment
