The numbers Pac did with Hatton and DLH arent relevant. Both those fights were key in building Manny to the point he is NOW,the biggest draw in boxing ,who after the Cotto fight is known to many more people around the world. Manny will do big numbers against anyone now. Floyd's camp cant really play that card and keep a straight face. That would look ridiculous.

To be honest TS, Miguel Cotto is a very popular fighter. A Mayweather-Cotto pay per view would've done just as well.

      Cotto-Margarito did over 500k
      Marquez-Casamayor did 100K

      Pacquiao-Marquez did 400k
      Mayweather-Marquez did over a million

Cotto is and will always be a bigger draw than Marquez, so it's no surprise that Pacquiao-Cotto did better than Mayweather-Marquez.

Pacquiao and Mayweather are about equal in terms of drawing power.

True, but if he would've fought Clottey(true WW) the numbers would not be as good as cotto vs pac. Take any TRUE welterweight besides floyd/mosley and Cotto vs Pac does better than any other, so WHO pacquiao fights counts.

Not taking anything away from pac or criticizing him, just showing that both Cotto and pac are reason for the high numbers.
Did we say that it was only Manny who sell the ppv? Perhaps your saying it was Floyd who just said that he was the one who sold the ppv on JMM-FMJ fight.

When Floyd did fight Judah and Berto, who was the reigning P4P at that time? If Manny fights Judah and Berto right now I'm sure he will surpass Floyd ppv.

              Numbers dont lie.
Im sure if Mayweather fought Cotto then the numbers would be similar. Your acting as if no Cotto found bought a ppv.

Hey Rob how many fans did Floyd have during the weigh-in of FMJ vs JMM. I think 70-80% were JMM fans. And why was Floyd talking that he did sold the PPV during their fight?

The original thread was PACQUIAO ALONE sold 1.6+. It should've been Pacquiao AND Cotto sell 1.6+

Fans is different than being a draw. People watch Floyd to see him lose.

Dude, you are acting like i'm knocking pacquiao. I'm not !!! Just giving Cotto credit.
                      Also, don't care about Floyd.
