Shane Mosley Next For Mayweather if Pacquiao Crumbles

Mosley is still dangerous, but I don't know how he will look in the ring next time out. He will have already been off for more than a year, and time is not on his side. The Shane that beat Margarito is a threat to anybody, but that Shane might be gone forever. If Floyd can't get Pacquiao or Mosley, I wonder what the next best option is?

I don't care about either fight. Floyd won't get credit for any of those wins. Mosley's too old and Pacquiao is too small that's what haters would say. I still want to watch them though.

As a mosley fan i would love to see him fight Floyd as long as he gets past Berto.

Mosley could be in a good position if he beats Berto. Mayweather may want to fight him and Pacquiao may want to fight him. He could very well stick it to Floyd by taking the Pacquiao fight instead and make the same or even more money. Of course, this could all be BS negotiating tactics by Ellerbe to show that he has other options as well.

why would mosley fight pacuiao first? first of all....he knows if fights mayweather atleast he can come in full strength(at 147) unlike a fight with pac where pac would want the fight to be at 142,143,144, or 145. mosley would still make a ton of money fighting floyd.

It's not gunna happen. For one thing Moselys fight isn't for another two and half months. And Floyd knows that they will make a deal to fight Pac.
If Floyd and his team really wanted Mosley I doubt they would have waited for him to sign a fight with Berto for the end of January. Not saying he didn't want to fight Mosley or duckin blah blah blah but obviously there is far more money to be made with Pac.
