No, Floyd came back for money. Floyd is always pricing himself too much, that's the problem.

Big *lol* at Cotto would beat Mayweather. Arum probably wasn't watching the fight against Pacquiao... if he did, he should have seen what a guy with way more hand and footspeed does to Cotto. Cotto couldn't even hurt Pacquiao and he's supposed to be smaller then Mayweather.

An even bigger *lol* at Margarito... Mosley is a guy with handspeed. He's not famous for his footspeed neither his foot movement and you have seen what even the old Sugar Shane Mosley's feet did to Margarito... but I guess he couldn't watch the match either, after seeing how Mosley started to beat his fighters ass.

Mosley is one dimensional. He has great physical tools but he ain't that smart. Proven by his rematches. He can't just go one way and if it doesn't work he's lost.

Pacquiao bring him on... if you actually want to ruin his run... Pacquiao in the end will probably stand before Floyd in boxing history BUT he will never ever beat him. And that's not even being overconfident... that's already an fact... Pacquiao looked great in his last fights but he fough guys who couldn't match neither his hand or footspeed and had inferior timing. Mayweather has it all plus defensive knowledge... like said Pacquiao can defend against guys who are slower then him and don't have timing (Cotto had it to a degree and he landed here and there)... Mayweather easy UD or even Knockout... Manny makes to many mistakes and still looses his head and can easily walk right into a fast fist.

So Mr. Arum boxing shouldn't be your profession... probably you should start to make your hobby a business... but wait and psychology you suck ass too... stop talking, don't overhype your fighter in negotiations... and everybody gets their dream fight and you a lot of money
Do you understand what have you posted? Do you understand what FACT means?

      According to the DICTIONARY:
      FACT means -
      1. A piece of information about circumstances that exist or events that have occurred
      2. A statement or assertion of verified information about something that is the case or has happened
      3. An event known to have happened or something known to have existed
      4. Theory that needs to be proven

They haven't fought dude, Floyd is ain't beating nobody, so until proven otherwise, what you have posted is just hypothetical, theories.

If he loses that, he will be exposed and he'll lose some of the reason why people watch him. People either wanna see if he can keep his undefeated record alive or they wanna see that one opponent who can finally put a dent on his record. As soon as he loses that 1st fight, he wont be as marketable because he does fight a boring fight. In Manny's case, win or lose, people will still watch him because they know he'll put on a show. So I think he's right about Mayweather wanting to keep that "0" on his lost record.
        Makes sense, nice post.

Arum/Roach makes this things complicated ! Floyd wants to fight for money and Pac wants to fight for his countrymen and for the record as he always saying. Right after cotto/Pac filipino's are calling out for Floyd so i think this is Pac's decision now!.. or people behind him will start to doubt and might even think he's ducking...

Cotto was not taking on a world beater in Jennings as well or? But Jennings was probably better then Marquez right???

Vazquez ain't fought a world beater.

Even the great Ray Robinson after his first defeat ain't went back straight against LaMotta... he took a tune up and then went on

And the list goes on and on... but if Floyd does it, it's because he is scared *looooooooooooooool*
Having said that, why did Floyd take on JMM he's not a WW? And Floyd did even comply on the agreed weight of 144. FLoyd could take on any WWs he wants to but instead he fought JMM who is SFW and struggling in LW.

Go to the archives and find the Roger Mayweather's interview he did before the Floyd-Marquez fight. He said Floyd came back to fight Marquez in preparation for a fight with Pacquiao.

Floyd himself said he'd fight and beat Pacquiao and that not even a week ago. He also said that Pacqiao's team were using Floyd as their marketing tool hence they kept mentioning his name during the Fight build up - that's also the reason why Floyd kept his mouth shut about who he wants to fight next until Pacquiao beat Cotto.

Julle is te doof manne. Kan julle nie sien dat Arum wil met Floyd se kop speel.
WHO CARES what they say lol.............

they are always saying something and still yet to fight a Cotto, Shane, MARGO etc...

Floyd and his fam do more talking then fighting these days.. hey check it,

Im gonna fight Kelly Pavlik next week.

              see my point?

                    I made that thread.

Considering his greatest payday at that point was $30,000 for winning the title then yes he should have taken the fight with Leonard, that was no low offer.

He turned down a lowball offer... it ain't get bigger then Leonard so if he wanted to make any money ever who else should have brought it to him. It's like fighting DLH for 2 dollars.

Aaron Pryor wasn't a welterweight and had done nothing to deserve a shot at Leonard and yet Ray offered him his greatest exposure and greatest payday and he turned it down......there really is nothing left to debate here and $2 isn't $500,000 either.
