After HBO puts up their guarantee and after PPV sales, each figther will make close to $50 million. There is no way Mayweather turns down that kind of money for one fight when it would take 4-5 fights/promotions to make that. With that kind of money, he could call it a day. Win, lose, or draw.

I speak 3 so I understand, took Japanese in college quit after a month lol.

I just heard Pacquiao's interview immediately after he landed in th Philippines. He basically said he wants to fight Mayweather but he wants Mayweather to call him out so that it will be in Pacquiao's terms not in Mayweather's. So Arum can get as much advantage for Pacquiao like the purse split, gloves, weight of the fight, who walks in first to the ring, who gets more airtime in 24/7. Whatever advantage. So in my mind Pacquiao is thinking he doesn't need this fight as much as Mayweather does.

Why was Mosley??? Did Mosley beat Cotto? I never said that Cotto would have been a challenge for May I just was answering someone who said he was afraid to fight Cotto as comeback fight.

Oh well, should I take you seriously... May announced his fight with Marquez on 1st May... and Cotto fought Clottey June 13th... so Cotto hasn't had a fight lined up... after he heard Mayweather won't fight him, he negotiated with Clottey and got in fighting shape in about 4 weeks??? LOOOOOOOOOOOL, Cotto was pretty much lined up for Clottey after he defeated Jennings, Arum talked about it as an good possibility... again, things like that these false accusations which certainly are true in your world and how you see Mayweather but hasn't anything to do with the real world... check your facts... this is a really an easy one... everyone who fights a big fight usually takes about 8 weeks... so if you can do a little math you know that just talked B.S.

I think this fight HAS to go down. Too much money involved for all parties for it not to happen.

I am sick of seeing crap like this and people on this site making ridiculous claims about Mayweather ducking this person or that person. Everyone who says that pretends like they don't know the history of Mayweather or act like his efforts to secure fights in the past don't matter. All of these clowns and haters have double standards.

I have said numerous times on this site that Cotto had four years to fight Mayweather before he retired (four years from the time Mayweather arrived at 140 until he retired) and never wanted to fight Mayweather. Mosley turned the fight down twice. Neither of these guys wanted the fight until after Mayweather sold 2.2 million PPVs against Oscar. Ricky Hatton turned the fight down three times before he actually developed the balls to fight Mayweather.

In a way, I hope Mayweather/Pac can't come to an agreement. Mayweather will fight and beat Mosley. Pac will fight Marquez and get his ass whipped. Then, there won't be any question as to who will get the 60 percent in a Mayweather/Pac fight.
