History has shown that Pac has difficulties against counter punchers. And Floyd may well be the best counter-puncher in the game right now. And he certainly hits harder than Marquez, who gave Pac fits in both their fights.

Credit to Roach, he put an end to Pac being wide open. His defence is a lot better these days. But he isn't Bernard Hopkins by any stretch of the imagination. I expect Floyd will take some heat in the early rounds. Pac is a great fighter. But if Floyd kicks on in the later rounds (as he usually does) and his timing is what it was when he put Hatton away with the check-hook he could start teeing off on Pac for fun.

The difference is that everyone thought JMM would be super aggressive and he said so the whole time. It was Floyd's 1st fight after 2 years but honestly when I watch it, Im also scared for Floyd to attack him. You could just tell that he was just waiting to Counter and dude is the best or 2nd best counter puncher in the game. The only time he would really swing was if Floyd swung 1st. With that being said, Floyd just may not be aggressive anymore. However, I think he ususally is against Southpaws, he wants to make a statement in this fight. Its not just about winning. He has to be super in winning because the mainstream really only knows him since the Oscar fight. Therefore he has to show people how good he use to be and let his hands go. Both Floyd and his dad admitted that after the fight. I think he will either be square up with Pac or even if he is going backwards & countering, he will still let his hands go alot like JMM did against Pac

pbf has had problems w/ pressure fighters and southpaws and speed, but he's never faced a boxer with all 3 qualities.

ZJ - I think it will be close, but Floyd will go out with a ****. Floyd doesn't have the power to keep Manny off of him. I fought Floyd, I haven't fought Manny, but I watch him and he's a little force. He backed Cotto up the whole fight, Cotto was in there doing those Salsa dances, I thought he was in there doing a tap dance or something (laughing) I didn't know what the Hell he was doing.

8CN - How would you try to beat Manny Pacquiao?

ZJ - You can't let him come forward. You have to back him up with good combinations. Another thing, you have to have power to back him up with. If you don't have power, you are not going to back him up. He's a strong little mother fer, and he's fast, he's sharp. Right now I just want to stay off of the radar screen. I don't want nobody ducking me, I am the quiet storm that nobody see's right now.

                Zab on Floyd Vs Pac

ZJ - It would be a good fight, but it won't be a shutout like he got against De La Hoya and Cotto. Mayweather has good defense, it will throw Pacquiao off. I also feel that it would be a 12 round split decision for Manny Pacquiao. I just feel if Pacquiao puts up his normal effort and it goes 12 rounds, they won't do that Mayweather nod ****, that's not going to happen.
I like Zab but seriously is anybody listening to this ****? I guess the dude just decided he wasn't good enough to make it at the top in boxing so now he's calling fights for a living? Didn't Zab predict Cotto would beat Pacquiao?

I dont think he has ever had problems , even when carrying a bad shoulder he still handled the pressure , its Manny that has cracked to Floyds counter punching style and Floyd is a mile ahead of anyone Manny has fought , makes for an interesting fight between 2 greats .

Floyd's best win is Oscar which he manage to squeak a SD.
Cotto's best win is SSM which beat Oscar in his prime 2x.
therefore Cotto resume>Floyd's resume. How's Floyd special?

But he has the accuracy to make Pac tentative and stand still. If Pac is willing to walk through the counters and not rely solely on his own countering, then he'll be ok. The worst think Pac can do is give Mayweather the time to think and set up.
