Jack it's like the Madden Curse(Culpepper, Faulk, Vick. You're on the cover and you get hurt, injured, KO'd...in Roy's case all three. It's just asking to have a bad year.

there were 2 fights against people with padded records, one who lost every time he stepped up (4 of the 5 by KO/TKO) and was nearly 37 years old, the other against a guy who had never fought outside his native Argentina, was 35 and had only 18 KOs in 31 fights.

Roy has always been my favourtie fighter and I dont want this to happen to him again. I just hope people remeber what he did for boxing and not the two losses at the end of his career.

they are not laughing, they are thinking about how poor they are going to be now without a money fight with Roy Jones. Tarver has no way to help pay off his bankruptcy stuff now.

Your quite right, it affects Tarver the most and Hopkins the least . The one fight I would love to see is James Toney vs. Chris Byrd who do y'all see winning in that one. I think I'm going to go with Chris Byrd he's been at heavyweight longer and besides being a southpaw he's a very slick one at that. One things for sure there's definitely gonna be alot of shoulder rollin' and dippin'. I don't know if a rematch between Hops and Roy would've come to fruition anyway simply because of the weight. Hops I think said after the fight w/ DLH he was willing to go up to super middle and that would be his highest and he seemed apprehensive in stating that, but coming down for Roy would mean having to lose another 7lbs. that's just insane and we know how careful Roy is, so my guess would've been had he not lost ,he would've gone straight to JT or the rubbermatch with Tarver and not even bother with Hopkins. I wouldn't even bother with Hopkins if I was Roy cause the one time that they did fight Roy pitched a mere shutout, with one hand so why starve myself in a rematch that Hops doesn't even deserve. Now if a rematch between JT and RJJ would've happened it may have turned out the same way, Roy was on his bicycle the first time and he would be on his motorcycle for the second one.

Roy cant fight well at 175 ne more Theres no way a remtatch with Hopkins would go down because he could never get down to middleweight again.
