yes, he can. but i don't see it. he'd be most likely not take risks in the fight. floyd won't be as willing to see if he can take pacquiao's punch as pacquiao is willing to see if he can take mayweather's punch.

I'll be happy if this fight even happens right away. Mayweather has shown continously that he will do anything to avoid any fighter who has a decent chance of beating him. Look at his last few opponents, name one in their prime provern welterweight. Mayweather is a decent fighter but this pound for pound crap he likes to have labeled on him is bull. HE IS A FAKE. As he has said time and time again he is a businessman and as long as Joe public will pay for him to fight has beens and little guys he'll continue to do so. Manny by far is the REAL fighter in this equation, he has moved up in weight and fought the REAL guys most by the way such as COTTO Floyd refused to fight. As you can tell I'm not a Mayweather fan, I think he is more of a self obsorbed blowhard oppertunist than a real fighter.

          floyd will run
he'll hit and run. if he chooses to duke it out, he'd be in trouble. and he won't.

this fight depends on how floyd would adjust with pacquiao's awkward style. he loses if he is troubled by the southpaw stance/weird punches

i don't really mind pacquiao losing TBH. he's proven enough to be considered one of the best regardless of this fight.

what im hoping is he bust up floyd's arrogant little face for being a ***** late in his career.

roach will tell pac to keep a torrid pace, but pac needs to be more precise with his attack, when he moves in he needs to use speed, with lead lefts or double jab and left, then move.

torrid pace, accurate fast attacks will overwhelm mayweather i feel.

Everyone knows how Floyd fight; so with that being said, Pac's performance on a prime, "stronger", "bigger", technical Cotto, is impressive to say the least.

Cotto proved in the first 4 or 5 rounds (despite knock downs) that he can box Pac. That Jab was the ideal weapon as many people predicted it to be. With all respect to Pac, I believe Cotto lost his composure and couldn't re-establish himself because of Pressure. But considering your initial post...Mayweather will most likely connect just as Cotto did if not more effeciently. HOWEVER looking at your photos posted Mayweather likes to pop up to deliver his "Left Hook" or "Check Hook" as he calls it and lower his right. Pac has a very dangerous left...and it delivers. (Hatton, DLH and now Cotto).

But I believe it's the same "Smart" pressure that Cotto faced will most likely be the issue in Floyd's case. Cotto too is a ring savvy boxer with good reflex and "above great" boxing ability. I cannot begin to predict who would win the fight, but I think Pac has the speed, reflexes, angles, and volume to potentially outwork, outpace, and outfight Floyd...and I didn't even mention Roach as a great trainer. So...with that being said...Pac has a pretty damn good chance at Mayweather.
