Mangler is not a hater... out of all those fights you stated, Cotto has a chance to win them all, but he also has a strong chance of losing them. He barely beat Clottey, he could have beat Pac but as stated in this thread, his corner obviously had no idea what they were doing. Yes, Cotto got a bit overanxious it was apparent in the third but instead of Santiago saying he only has a left he should have told Cotto to CHILL the FAWK OUT, and don't try to KO him. Instead he did the opposite and while Cotto may have needed his ego fed after the Marg loss, he didn't need it in this fight. He needed to be tactical like he was in the first and in the Mosley fight. They pressured Manny far too early, and tried to make Cotto feel good about himself. There's nothing wrong with that, a fighter needs to hear it, but there is a time and place for it and just because you win a round doesn't mean you're in total control of the fight.

I agree with this. I don't believe it when some say Cotto had no chance at all no matter what he did. That's just plain wrong and you'd have to be a hardcore Manny fan to say such a thing. That in itself would take credit away from Pacquiao's victory, implying that Manny fought a guy he was 100% sure couldn't beat him. Not true.

I give Manny full credit because Cotto had a real chance at winning, instead he blew it completely.

And while they can win a game on any given sunday if there were to face this Saints, Colts, Patriots at any point this season I'll be betting against them. Its not that I don't want them to win, its that using my logic its not likely to happen. Its the same exact thing that Mangler is saying. He likes Cotto, respects him, but he just thinks that he doesn't have the skills to beat certain opponents and there is nothing wrong with that.
