just because you pick one guy to win doesn't mean you necessarily want that person to win.

for instance... I'm picking kessler to win because he's the favorite and rightfully so, but I want ward to win because the US fighters have all lost, we need one to represent.

Mangler is not a hater... out of all those fights you stated, Cotto has a chance to win them all, but he also has a strong chance of losing them. He barely beat Clottey, he could have beat Pac but as stated in this thread, his corner obviously had no idea what they were doing. Yes, Cotto got a bit overanxious it was apparent in the third but instead of Santiago saying he only has a left he should have told Cotto to CHILL the FAWK OUT, and don't try to KO him. Instead he did the opposite and while Cotto may have needed his ego fed after the Marg loss, he didn't need it in this fight. He needed to be tactical like he was in the first and in the Mosley fight. They pressured Manny far too early, and tried to make Cotto feel good about himself. There's nothing wrong with that, a fighter needs to hear it, but there is a time and place for it and just because you win a round doesn't mean you're in total control of the fight.

Also all of Manglers predictions were pretty spot on except for the Mayweather/Cotto fight as they've never met. A lot of people feel Clottey won, and I can see him winning by a point, really either guy could only have won by a point IMO. Marg, plaster or not he still beat Cotto and its never going to come off the record books. And Pac... we all know what happened there, Roach was spot on when he said Cotto was training himself and just had a yes man in the corner. Hopefully Cotto realizes that while he does HATE working with his uncle, and he probably wants to beat the **** out of him, if he wants to remain in the elite level of the WW division or boxing in general, he needs his uncle in that corner or someone who isn't just there to feed his ego. Because having his uncle in that corner Cotto was a better fighter.
