The modern athlete has evolved dramatically the past few decades due to significant advances in nutrition and science, and it is far more significant than you think.
    My point exactly..

P4P Ray was a far superior fighter if you compare him against Floyd. I do agree that a ton of the older fighters wouldn't match up well against the athletes today that we have in the fight game.

But how would you know (for argument sake) ?

We would have to know all the variables like. Force, speed etc

How come this poll doesn't have a "What the ****?" option?

No, those increased results are through nutriton and health care improving.

I actually laughed out loud at you stating the process of evolution has been driven (over a period of 40 years, no less ..) by people eating better.

Umm.. I think the problem here is people don't understand the definition of evolution. Charles Darwin is simultaneously turning in his grave and ****ting his pants.

consider this.... we now have a damn-near 7 foot individual that can move as if he was 5ft tall... thats evolution in its purist form

                      NO IT'S NOT.

That comes from improvements in health, nutrition and living conditions.

What driving pressure or force is acting to make peopel taller? there's no life or death competition to reach higher places or climb higher than each other. Natural selection is not acting, thus there is no change to the genotype, and thus phenotype, of the species.

And evolution doesnt act on individuals you ****ing moron.

You blatantly don't understand evolution and natural selection, at ALL. Imbecile.

I'm actually laughing at your posts, the year 11 kids (16 year olds) that I teach understand this topic more than you do.
