Tyson was the most dominant, by a mile.

Pacquiao has fought the best competition.

Jones is in the middle of the pack, in terms of dominance right behind Tyson.

the question was, who was the most dominant, not who was the best of his time.

While Tyson dominated his era, he also lost to fighters he shouldn't have lost to and then when he fought fighters that were of good caliber, he got beat.

        RJJ didn't lose for a decade.....lol

I mean, how much more dominating can you get? He beat a prime Hopkins and Toney and then didn't have much competition after that I will agree but he dominated for much longer.

IMO Tyson is one of the most overrated fighter of all time. Not that he wasn't a beast for a short period of time but the fact that when facing better opposition, he lost every time.

****, when you think of it, Larry Holmes was more dominant than tyson.

The punch Tarver landed on Roy would of knocked any LHW out.... it was a left handed hayemaker that landed DIRECTLY on Roys chin.. and people forget that Roy still got up within 10 seconds, but was waived off.

Even though I love Mike, he got knocked out in his prime. Pacman is in his prime right now and we'll know more after he fights Floyd. I picked Roy because he was untouchable in his prime! Yeah you can say that he avoided Michalchewski(sp) and Calzaghe but out of everyone he fought, he couldn't be touched...

i think if the ref had'nt waved the fight off, jones might've survived tarvers flurry like he did in the first tarver fight, and then he would'nt have been in the predicament of lacking confidence and being gun shy and might've actually come back from the knockdown to win

bastard ref loved roy jones too much

Roy Jones didnt legitimetly lose until he was 35, Tyson got knocked out when he was 24... that is still your prime.

Darius is AT MUCH fault for not making the fight as Roy Jones... Roy didn't want to go over seas to fight and Darius didn't either. Roy held 7 titles in the LHW division at the same time.

As for Calzaghe, Joe barely cracked the top 10 while was Roy was in the SMW division.
