He has 54 wins .. and 40 by knock out... thats hardly going UD all the time.

ruiz was a bum and the weakest title holder at the time... remember what tua did to him?

most of rjj wins are from ud and tko...

tyson was the most dominant champion ever and it should not even be disputed

I know they did in the different ways (staying at the weight, moving up in weight, knocking out bigger guys, etc). However, I think we can still compare/contrast.

Also, Pac's career isn't over yet but consider if he were to retire right now.

Please vote on the poll. thanks.
I would say RJJ because he did it going from MW to HW for a much longer period....Tyson dominated for a short period of time...people forget a Prime Tyson was Ko'ed by Buster Douglas. RJJ dominated different weight classes for a decade.....

Tyson was dominant against mediocre opposition. Could say the same for Roy but he probably fought better people. Pac wasnt dominant until his last 4 fights.

roy jones had 12, proper ko's and alot of tko that should defienetly count as ko
tyson has 15 ko's, not a big differrence

but the again ko's does'nt equal dominance and tyson was by far a bigger puncher than jones, yet tho tyson tried to get you out of there as quickly as possible(obviously not playin around), jones took his time with a below average punch output, picking you apart and when landing on your chin, stopping you

Ruiz isn't a great HW. But he is a solid heavyweight who has wins over Mccline, Golota, Oquendo, Rahman and Holyfield. And he knocked Holyfield down.

It's about the risk, not how great Ruiz's resume is, but the fact that Roy came from MW, his previous fight at LHW, 175 pounds... PUT ON 20 pounds and was still out weighed by 30lbs. All Ruiz had to do is land one flush right hand on his chin and it was over. If he could knock Holyfield down he would knock Roy Jones the **** out.

But he didn't he got shut out. A 5'11" LHW vs a 6' 2" 230lb heavyweight.. is a god damn risk.

                    This was my first thought.

But I dunno, Tyson was pretty damn dominant.

Then Buster ****ed his **** up.

Yeah he landed on Roy but those 2 rights were glancing blows off the top... if Ruiz landed on Roys jaw like Tarver he would never wake up.
