Miguel fought the wrong type of fight but i still think Pacquiao would have won but not in such great fashion.
Miguel got suckered into a fight...

lol...funny post. I didn't take it seriously...was it suppose to be?Nah. What will happen is the bell will ring and Manny won't be suckered into following Floyd around the ring like all the other guys who fought him. He will step back to the ropes, invite Floyd in and rope-a-dope him for 11 rounds until he's tired and breaks his brittle hands, then Manny throws a single punch and knocks Floyd cold for two weeks.
See? Floyd's plan is ****ed already. He expects everyone to follow him around so he can potshot and run. That's because Floyd is so one-dimensional. By not playing his games, you can see he's already lost his main advantage.
The audience will walk out, because basically there won't be a fight, but that's OK, Manny will "get the win under any circumstances", no matter how boring it is.
Freddie Roach? Pfff. Manny needs Freddie S a m u r a i. I have the master plan to beat Floyd. And it couldn't be simpler. If you don't follow him, there's basically nothing left in his one-dimensional arsenal.
You've been backing the wrong horse all along. Floyd sucks. Everyone has been trying to work out how to beat him, but the answer is... do nothing.Comment

I have to agree with you....Once Manny started hurting him, Miguel wanted to hurt Manny back and that's when he started losing the fight. Cotto won the first round by boxing Manny. Manny checked his chin in the second and Miguel wanted some payback; it cost him, badly. Manny damaged him in the 2nd, 3rd & 4th. It was over after that. Perhaps if he had a better trainer, he would have been instructed to check his pride and keep Manny at the end of his jab.
Thats exactly what happened.Comment

Agreed, Cotto lost his cool as soon as Pacquiao got the better of him which left him wide open for the left hook! Cotto should have stayed behind the jab and slowed the pace of the fight down, instead of that he fought high tempo with a great puncher and payed the ultimate price. I know Cotto could have done so much better then he did do in there, trading with pacquiao is suicide.Comment

He throw his game plan away and that rookie Santiago didn't help at all. Cotto may not have won the fight in the end but he sure would have looked a lot better if he boxed. Instead he thought he could brawl with a brawler. Manny size is very deceptive and he will pop you if you decide to trade.Comment

I think Miguel and his crew really believed Manny would be too small to hang with Miguel. I think they "knew" in their minds that Manny couldn't hurt him and he (Miguel) could hurt Manny. They were close-minded in this aspect. That was their biggest mistake. It's happened three times in a row now (Oscar, Ricky & Miguel). One thing is certain, whoever fights Manny next, will not make the same mistake. He throw his game plan away and that rookie Santiago didn't help at all.
