well, malignaggi talking about steroids is something that i would expect, i expect that from people looking for fame in boxing, no matter how they get attention.
now, if manny is on roids, he's doing it right and smart because he hasn't tested positive for steroids.
and the last time i checked, steroids doesn't help you take a punch better, i've seen many of juice heads get startched in fights, happens in mma all the time, fernando vargas got ko'd while taking roids, by DLH of all people too, so doesn't really hold any water, saying roids makes your chin stronger.
it was the weight drain, with not rehydrating to normal hydration, that made cotto's punches not the kind destructive punches we've seen.
i really think that dropping to 145 and not rehydrating fully was the cause. i think manny would've beaten cotto anyways even if it was a regualr welter weight fight, but since it wasn't, i think that played a huge role.
fact of the matter is this, when you're a guy like manny, everyone is going to come at you, fighters, fight orginizations, commissions, etc. everyone is going to go after the fighter, the character, and most importantly, especially for the commissions and orginizations, MONEY. the establishment would love nothign more than to bust a fighter to slap some fines on them, it's more money for them, and open's up the door for extortion later down the road with extra fines and fee's........... if they aren't finding anything with manny doing roids, then people are slandering pacquiao without evidence....... which you can be sued in court for that.............. if i was manny i would look into it, unless i was doing roids and didn't want anyone to look too deep!?!?!?!??! a lot of the same reason politicians don't take every libel incidence to court because the truth could come out..........!?!?Comment

also to boot, i don't think that roach is really going to stand by and be aprat of cheating, knowingly. roach, whether you like him or not, is a stand up honest guy in boxing and has a good reputation for honesty and fairness.
i would seriously doubt that he would allow or be a part of any cheating in boxing, especially something that could cause permanent damage to another.................Comment
