    for margarito & fans....

if you're cotto & his fans, you'd be better off fighting the winner of shane/berto.

I would think the winner of Shane Berto would look for bigger fights. Probably for the Mayweather vs pacquiao winner or loser.

I think it would be a good opportunity for Cotto to redeem himself. But I can't blame him for not giving Margarito a fight he clearly dosen't deserve.

Totally man. Thats why I don't think even a new trainer will help that much. Cotto wants it his way or the highway.

I have watched a bit of his training, and I have never seen him crank it up to the next level. Just some slow 10 mile an hour mitt work.

Yea man, if the Margarito beatdown didn't humble him, who knows if the Pac one will.

Hopefully he'll look back, realize he got ****ing BLITZED twice, and understand that if he wants to continue his career it's time for a change.

Unfortunately, I don't see that happening.

An element that needs to change is his training. Look at guys like Pacquaio, Hopkins, Calzaghe, and Marquez train and crank it up as the sessions go on. Cotto trains at his slow measured pace throughout the duration of his training camp. That will not let you take it into second gear come fight time.

Margarito is a bad fight for Cotto full stop, Especially coming off his defeat to Pacquiao.

If it was to happen, i would like Cotto to have a tuneup or two.

I think Margarito just had the style and chin to beat Cotto. Let's not forget that Cotto hit him with everything, and unless Margarito had plaster inserts in his chin, Cotto could not hurt Margarito or get to his body. How do you explain plaster had to do with Margarito's chin and Cotto not getting to his body?

Cotto should stay the hell away from Margarito if he knows what's good for him. He should stay fighting winnable fights like Jennings, Gomez, Urkal.
What about Mosley Clottey and Judah .Who else is left at WW except Berto and Mayweather who he's probably blew a chance at anyway after the Pac loss. I think he deserves the benefit of the doubt he could have been better .He might have been able to do better against Pac if it wasn't for that Margarito fight .We all know fighters don't come back the same after brutal losses .He was undefeated till the Margarito fight .Plaster of paris man how can you trust a cheat .He's probably as much a liar as a cheat .
