lol true to that cotto for me had a suspect chin thats why he doesn't like to exchange with guys so he starts backing up. He had a weak chin 140 at 147 it was suspect so at 145 i can understand why he went down twice. I mean it seems that when cotto gets hit good he completely forgets about boxing and just runs marg, clottey, pac are examples of that.

Hatton, get ready to retire. I can see it because it'll draw hatton(british) fans and Cotto(puertorican) fans. Who do you think pacquiao will root for? I think pacquiao likes/respects cotto for being classy in their fight.

        I like this fight.

Cotto vs a guy with a decent name (yes a complete has been/washed up) and most likely an easy win. Also should make for an exciting fight while it lasts.

Don't forget Cotto is coming off a tko loss to Pacquiao. He's taking some time off and will most likely put on a lot of weight. He will probably be rusty, and lacking some confidence in his next fight.

I see no problem with him fighting Castillo next.

People saying he needs to fight Margarito next are crazy. Dude just lost, let him get back into the mix of things slowly. No need to jump right into ANOTHER big fight right away. Be patient. The Clottey fight that Cotto had before Pacquiao was a very hard fight too. Give the guy a break.

Castillo has won his last 4 fights by knockout and he probably thinks he can take out Cotto now that Cotto has been defeated twice.

I think it will be an exciting fight, until Cotto stops him

I kinda agree but damn he took shots from clottey/margarito and still could not get ko'd.

I like that fight but i want Cotto to take a year off and heal. Collazo is still relevant and he has fought known names. Good comeback fight for him just not that soon. Wouls love to see Pac against Margo. Bob can make it happen..That would be huge and he promotes both. Little Pac agaings big ol Margo.....

Castillo has been shot for a few years. He looked like he was fighting in quicksand in the summer of 2008 against Lujan, and he'll be 36 by the time Cotto fights him. Not a bad comeback fight for Cotto because Castillo will stand up and take a pasting for five or six rounds before they stop it

I agree that Cotto needs a confidence building fight. This isn't the guy to do it with though, it's too obvious of a mismatch.
How about Soto Karass, Collazo or Hlatschwayo?
