i believe ring will allow that for the lineal championship. but floyd doesnt even have a belt at WW.

IF ssm win against berto. SSM will be WBA and WBC beltholder. since SSM is the #2 WW. they can also fight for the lineal championship.

Uh again, lack of boxing knowledge. Almost all boxing victory can arguably be 'tainted' by fans. Floyd vs Castillo 1? Floyd vs Judah (Some people argue the wierd choking Judah had, I'm not saying I believe it though)? Just stop it man, this is boxing, and a win is a win.

Heck even the judge who was scoring Manny vs JMM 1 admitted that he made a wrong scoring decision and Pac could have won, but the fact is, it was a draw and no other **** could ever change that.

what that means is that if Pacquiao and Mayweather fight next, Their fight will be for the RING and The Offical Lineal Welterweight Title.

So the question is, How does not beating the number #1 or #2 fighter in the division get you the #1 spot?

Pacquiao beat the RING's number # 3 welterweight in the division...
When Pacquiao wasnt even ranked...So at best he should have got the #2 spot and they still Keep Mosley at #1. But obviously that didnt happen.

So how do you go from not even being ranked and fighting the #3 fighter... To being #1?????
