He stopped using his skills and just wanted to blow everybody away.
A cold Tito? Come on man, your making excuses now...

Look, I respect Tito, he was a very good champion and had incredible power. Like I said though, when did you ever see Oscar hurt like Tito?

It's tough to go through a career like Oscar had and not suffer a loss or get hurt. Oscar just wouldn't get touched, I mean, think about the last time you would see Oscar cut or hurt? It never happened.....

Tito just didn't have great boxing skills, he was a good boxer, just not great like you are making him sound to be. He was lucky to have the power he had because had he not had that power, he would have lost a lot of fights he won, including the one vs Vargas.

This was already done and trinidad won by land slide. just because Manny beat a shot Cotto they think he can beat any Welter weight, but as soon as many fights some more welterweights he will become shot himself and you'll see he can take one punch and continue on strong. Manny had it easy on his last three fights, while Cotto had two out of three hard battles. It was fighting those battles whay hurt Cotto, the Clottey fight and the Margarito fight that counts for two. But not even a Mayweather wil be as dangerous for manny as fighting a Margarito, Clottey or Mosley. Those are the hard hitting fighters that will make you a shot fight. Margarito cause of the plaster.

I think Trinidad would present too big of a challenge for Pacquiao.

Tito is about as one dimensional as they come. He doesn't hit back when he's getting hit and believe me Pac would land first. Pac would spin him like a top and he'd never land that left hook.

IMO Tito would be too much for Pac.

Tough call. Tito is one of the most murderous punching welterweights in history, probably only Hearns hit harder, and was also a fantastic boxer. He was vulnerable though, and could be caught and put down, that said,he had that rare quality of being very dangerous when he appeared hurt.

Could go either way as Manny is a great, great fighter and improves with every outing, but I would lean towards Tito in this one.

Then about the 3rd round or so, Cotto was being countered with a lead right hook when he was throwing that jb. Which was followed by a straight left that was doing the damage.

Once you start getting countered, it's hard to keep throwing the same shot over and over because you don't want to get hit.

Same thing happened with DLH. People ask why didn't DLH keep snapping the jab out, that was because he was being countered by Mayweather and TOOK THAT AWAY FROM HIM.
Very astute. What I saw in round two was a perfectly timed left hand lead that just landed at will every time Cotto pushed that jab out. As soon as the jab was gone, he went to work with combinations and only had the left hook counter to worry about. Later on you see him slip the jab with head movement, counter it with right hooks like you said, even parying it and landing his own jab right after. Truly marvelous stuff.

I think Pacquiao beats him, too much speed and movement, not to mention power.
