cotto could have won that fight, if he didn't fight ****** and get caught with a left hook/uppercut.

he didn't throw his jab like he should have and it was highly succesful against manny. He also tried exchanging with Manny who clearly had the faster hands. He should of stuck to 3-4 combos instead of flurries.

he was fighting Manny's fight and that is why he lost. he even hurt manny and didn't even jump on him.

if he throws the jab and gets in close and unload those uppercuts and body shots....he wins this fight!

It's possible. Honestly look at most of the guys that fought Cotto. They usually aren't the same after. Cotto didn't hit Pacquiao as much as Morales/Marquez did but he hit him harder. I wouldn't be surprised if Pacquiao is a bit damaged from the fight. He did mess up his ear thats why he had that head wrap on his head. I'm hoping there is no permanent damage though

And body punches take something out of a fighter often times. And the fact that Snootz mentioned that this may be used as an excuse if Floyd beats Pac is something that Floyd has brought on himself by not fighting top fighters his own size. Would Cotto hit Floyd like he hit Pacquiao? Probably not, but still.
And Cotto punches ALOT harder than Marquez.
        I agree with Iceta.
