Of course you can. What's holding you back is just lack of confidence and you need more discipline. Losing weight by way of starving yourself is not the healthy way to do it.
I'm 20 years old and the only thing that is holding me back from boxing again is my eye doctor told me i can't box anymore, my eye is sown together. If hit, it would open up. So there goes boxing out the window for me.Comment

I'm a asian 28yo, 6 foot & 250lbs. I use to box when I was little(10-18yo) and I weight at 150-52lbs. I'm a natural 165~70 pounder but fought @ 150ish.
I remember it was hell to kept off 15-18lbs to stay in fighting shape... Unfortunately, because of a car accident when i was 18 ended my dream of the turning pro. I had amateur record of 56W-7L ...
If you're 243lbs, you need to loose at least 80lbs to be in fighting shape... Hope you pull it off but it's gonna take alot of hard work...Comment
