i would love to see what happens.

pac to me answered a lot of questions about how he would do at ww last saturday.

i got him 50/50 to beat mosley now. before i thought mosley by brutal ko.

one thing that worries me though is that pacquiao (to me. my own opinion.) isn't that great at chasing people down or cutting off the ring.

he knows how to do it but not great at it.

if floyd runs instead of say using his d on the ropes or in the pocket , i can see pac getting frustrated.

Floyd will be a fighter on a whole different level than Manny has faced, and is undefeated. Which mans it's difficult to strategize against a guy who hasn't been beat, let alone knocked out in any fight.

I'm sure Freddie has been strategizing for this moment for a long time now.
It's not like he recently started watching Floyd's fights. He says Floyd will be easy to beat, but it's all talk until Manny get's in the ring to prove it.

To Freddie's credit, he's been very successful in mapping out effective fight plans for Manny's previous opponents. So, once the fight is signed you can be sure he's pulling out and dusting off the How To Beat Floyd Mayweather Manifesto.

Freddie and Manny have turned out to be a successful combo and i don't doubt they'll bring out the best in Floyd.

One thing about Shane though is that he can be hit and his stamina isn't like it once was which is why I thought Pac actually stood a chance. The disadvantage to facing Shane is that he can take those punches, can dish them right back at you, and he throws a vicious body punch (as seen in the Margarito fight which was key to take him out of his game early).
That's why Freddie wanted Cotto not Shane (unless Shane was willing to come down to 142/143.
Pac wouldn't have to chase Shane and could move around...but it is Shane and that Man if he is on that night is hell to fight.

Floyd is actually good on the ropes when he wants to: he likes to stand there, let you attack, and then will roll, then counter punch you in quick fashion. He used to be big on that although not as sure now...have to watch the fights again.

Pac looks strong at 147 and more confident when you come to him.

Funny thing is, I heard Roach was worried when Pac was against the ropes and covering up but to me, I was like Damn...this kid is relaxed and in control. It was an Ali moment (not to over-blow it).

Yeah...I've always thought Freddie and Manny were a great team and Kuntz can go **** himself with his comment about Manny not really needing Roach...which is why I'm glad Manny upped his respect for Roach in front of everyone calling him "Master" {Roach}.
          Very Martial Art.

For Floyd, I guess he could...Jab...right-cross, and Jab back out of range as a simple combo.

I just can't see him getting away with pot-shots all night. He'll at least have to throw 1-2 punches and throw more often.
Floyd can jab right hand clinch,Jab lateral movement clinch. All Floyd has to do is clinch to neutralize Pac`s Flurries.Floyd is known for clinching ,just look at the Hatton fight.Floyd Neutralized Hatton inside game through clinching at times and at other times he out boxed him on the inside.Floyd is very good on the inside even when countering and avoiding getting hit on the inside.

This was Floyd when he was dangerous and was willing to risk.
Too bad he actually grown more skilled and thought "hey i don't need to take all these punches". I like Floyd more now, he's a more perfect fighter. He's no longer in his prime but i think he peaked when he absolutely killed Gatti.

Floyd is a feather-fisted! He may have the longer reach but Manny will not used the same tactics he used for Cotto when he fights Floyd. Manny will be hit once or twice to unload ten punches. His shoulder rolls will not be effective if you don't see were the punch is coming from bcoz of it's tremendous velocity and multiple angles. The only way floyd can win is to stand his ground and fight and used his sized bcoz Manny can outpunch him, outspeed him and out cardio him for the full 12 rounds.

I'm not sure it would fall under "skill" as much as expanding his mind-set on fighting: "Do what is needed to win without taking unnecessary risks"

Before he pushed to sell fights...make a name for himself. Now, he has a name and fights can come his way so he is in protect mode...however, there is a good quote I'm going to post up and I hope I got it right...eh...hope so.
