Don't be fooled by Shane's win over Margarita

Shane has been past his prime years ago. Margarita, although a tough hombre, was a glorified f**Kin' bum, a cheating one at that.

I'm tellin' y'all. Shane vs. Floyd would not even be competitive, it would look similar to Floyd - JMM, believe that.

Shane these days, is all about landing that one - punch. If you don't come at Shane, he has difficulty getting his punches off. Mayorga's awkwardness proved it.

When was the last time Floyd was the aggressor in a fight? Floyd will definitely not do any leading against Shane.

I think you fall into the same category most of the posters here fall in, young, impressionable and extreme in your thoughts.

First of all, Marg isn't a bum. He was once a fighter that neither Mayweather, Pac or Mosley wanted to face. His style is a tough style for anyone because he's a pressure fighter with an iron chin.

Second, I would never discredit Mosley's win over Marg because he did something nobody else had done and that was KO Marg. It's not the fact that he beat him that was impressive but HOW he beat him.

Also, I agree that Mayweather beats Mosley at this stage of his career because Mosley is 37 and time is running out. Don't think though that it would be anything similar than what we saw with JMM. Mosley isn't smaller and weaker than Floyd, he would give him something back.

Let's stop being extremists in our thoughts.

Mosley's win over Marg is a smoke screen imo.

This had nothing to do with Plaster: The shot that ended the fight came early...it was a blow that crippled Margarito's mid-section and burst his tank. After that...Shane lit him up.

But yes, this isn't the same Mosley that fought Oscar years ago at 147.

Lol, okay, let me correct myself, He's not just a bum, but a glorified bum. And, yeah, no one has ever ko'd Margarita before, because, well, look at the competition he has faced, lol.

A few tweaks in the gameplan, and a good number of fighters, like P. Will, and Cotto would've beaten Margarita, that's all there's to it.

thank you!!!! people watch a fight and immediately dive off the deep end, i swear i saw a pac is the greatest ever thread and a cotto should retire thread... are people believing the stuff they are saying and if so, do they have reasons? i disagree w the age factor bc mosley hasnt slowed in recent fights (sped up in 12th against cotto) and floyd's work rate is generally low, but the rest was on point
