    ahh..so predictable.

and floyd fought an aging, slower, past prime blownup fighter two divisions lower and ya'll know it...right?

Had he kept using the jab consistantly, kept Manny fighting off his heels, he'd have had a much better chance of having his body work pay off later and stopping Pacman. Instead, he started brawling with a much quicker guy who packs a big punch, thinking he'd make a short night of it himself.

Manny is in SUPERB condition, and can take a punch. No way he's going to get caught early and KO'd, which is what Miguel was hoping for.....you can see it by the way he fought the first few rounds.

Cotto should've kept throwing the jab and doing the body work he did early. WOuld've been a pick'em fight if he had.

Anyway, glad I didn't put a couple hundred down on a late KO win by Cotto like I considered.

He was landing the jab once in a while but watch the fight over again, he was getting timed with the lead right check hook.

He's not going to completely stop throwing the jab but believe me when I say, when someone is landing a shot on you, especially after you are throwing a certain punch, it will make you think twice about throwing it again.

Cotto isn't shot because he has had good performances since the Marg fight against tough fighters. Manny is just a beast.

He has the tools to beat Manny, he just didn't apply them properly. Happens, sometimes, when a fighter doesn't have the right experiences to make him understand what he needs to do to beat a particular opponent.

No he doesn't and no he didn't. Cotto can't beat Manny, doesn't have the tools and his strategy had nothing to do with him losing.

Cotto is far from shot..but also far from the fighter he once was..he left his prime in the ring against Margarito..

but I do feel he has the tools to beat Manny..like Roach said..Cotto's training himself basically..his Corner won't say no to this man..they're all YES MEN..that's why Evangelista was a VERY SOLID trainer..cuz he doesn't take no ****..and stands up for what he KNOWS will benefit his fighter..

Manny outworked Cotto in every way possible..but even he said Cotto hurt him a couple times but showed no sign of it so Cotto won't get a momentum..so if Cotto could work harder..actually weigh in at 147 where we all know he was more comfortable and a much more experienced corner than he'd have a very solid chance to beat Manny, Mosley, and Margarito..that's my opinion atleast...but in the end...these beatings are taking a toll on him..he needs a break..
