Name wise, yes...but I don't see anyone on Pac's resume that Floyd couldn't have beat when Pac beat them.
But Pac will be given more credit because he does have those "names" on his resume as well as winning a title in more divisions which include lighter weight titles...so yes, Pac's resume is greater.

2004-2005, JLC IMO got a gift against Casamayor and had lost to Corrales. Doesn't change the fact that Corrales was just as good as he was an 2002.

I've always wondered if Roach would be as confident if this was Floyd fighting at 140. But my opinion would only hold true if Floyd can't fight up to what he used to fight below 147 (with the exception of the Mitchell fight)...not sure. But maybe this is what Freddie sees. Like a Hyena that spots the King Lion turn old over-night limping along and malnurished because he isn't the same hunter anymore.

Not saying they both don't take chances/risks, but they do have a tendency to get the right opponents, advantages, and at the right-time. Not all opponents, but many.

Roach looks for "names," where the fighter is at in his career, and also likes to make sure of a certain weight to fight at. The one key opponent that was a very good fighter that there wasn't these advantages was JMM. Tough fight. Prime vs. Prime...healthy.

Floyd also looks for names...money more so than where the fighter is at in his career although he is guilty as charged regardless...and for at least one fight, JMM...wanted the fighter to be at a certain weight (although increasing weight where you have the option to show up at whatever weight you please is healthier/safer than losing weight).
The best name on his resume without advantages was Chico...although Castillo would be the one fight I would say was the other where Floyd didn't have the advantages and he was given hell. Prime vs. Prime fighters.





Start time about Floyd is at 5:30...but he talks about Cotto not being the same fighter before that.
