Nobody in Manny's shoes should accept 50/50. Youre speaking from either your hate or a fan's perspective. Step outside the fan's perspective for a moment and put yourself in the shoes of someone who's been fighting the best opponents and actually giving the fans what the want.

You have to remember that Manny is the one that has built this fight into a mega event by actually doing the fighting. Of course he shouldn't settle for less than 50/50. That ain't hate, thats reasonable.

          2. Common opponents don't mean **** when Mayweather was a well known AMERICAN boxer and Pacquiao was an unknown FOREIGN fighter. Things are much different nowadays.

How do common opponents show true fanbase numbers if when they fought one guy was a well known American olympic boxer at the time and the other was a relatively unknown foreign fighter? Not to mention a declining economy at the time of some of their common opponents.

Pacquiao's stardom has just recently eclipsed Mayweather's recognition. We should only compare recent fights that will show true number of how much of a fanbase both fighters have today. Not 3-4 years ago.
Youre right, Oscar/Pac wasnt seen as much of a fight, youre right about that.

Than answer me why floyd shouldn't take the 60/40? As I've stated, its Manny's willingness to move up and fight the best that has turned this into such a must see event. Do you think people are going to actually buy this to hear Floyd say "I steal money!". No. They'll buy it because they want to see Manny beat him.

While Manny has built this fight into a mega event Floyd has been making it seem lackluster by his recent disposal of Marquez. Had the Cotto fight been before the Marquez lopsided win, Id imagine some would still not care so much for this fight. Its nothing against Manny 40 percent is a great percentage if you ask me, nobody else would probably be able to get 40%. Sharmba got about 4% of the purse when he fought Floyd...Im just saying.

Im just saying he's in the position to fight anyone he wants to. He could fight Hatton in England and do big if he wanted.
