Benn had the natural strength as well as the 'zilch' in his shots, he could knock you out with not just either hand but any punch he chose! And his KO's weren't ever timing or accuracy. Jackson's KO's were beautiful, Benn's were ugly. Benn was all power.
Who hits harder? Hearns, McClellan, or Jackson?

Hearns had great technique on his KO punches. Combination of great speed, leverage, delivery, timing, and power on his right cross
McClellan had the heaviest hands. Power in both hands and in all his punches
Jackson had best pure single punch out of nowhere KO power. I mean the guy could be losing entire fight and POP!! KTFOLast edited by ricecrispi; 07-20-2006, 10:09 PM.Comment

Man all three of those guys you mentioned are HUGE punchers.
Hearns' right hand was truly devastating especially at 147 and 154. I thought for sure his power would carry when he moved up to face Hagler at Middleweight, needless to say I was stunned when he cracked Marvin with that bomb in the first and he didn't go.
Yeah, at middleweight I'd have to give it to Jackson by a slight edge although I don't think even he could of knocked out Hagler.Comment

Thats more because of haglers chin than hearns powerOriginally posted by FitefreakI was stunned when he cracked Marvin with that bomb in the first and he didn't go.

Hearns knocked out more top and elite guys with one punch than anybody, so it has to be him. duran was never knocked out like that by anybody else., his one punch kayo of cuevas, and black gold shuler are amazing. jackson was a one dimensional slugger. hearns could kayo the elite of the elite. he just so happened to run up against hagler and leonard. but he did detach leonard's retina.Originally posted by Tha GreatestI'm sorry but I never seen McClellan or Julian Jackson fight..
but i hear they got monster power
Who hits harder out of the 3 of them?Comment

He walked trough Hearns' right cross in sparring? Where did you get that from?Originally posted by jack_the_rippuhMcClellan walked through Hearns' right cross in sparring before.
Anyway, I'd have to go with Hearnacksonellan...meaning all of them.

Jackson for me, to be fair he didn't have much else but the Herol Graham fight sticks in my mind, Graham absolutely schooled him for 3.5 rounds then **** it was all over one shot.
Awesome, sad for the highly talented Graham though buts that boxing!

jackson, because in any round and with either handhe could ko a guy flat out. even if he was losing his ass, all he had to do was get a clean one.
his shoulders were like bowling balls.....
g-man was the same, but his power was more in the first half of the fight. but he too was like jackson, all he had to do was get you stunned and it was over. both guys, actually all three were great finishers when they had someone hurt.
jackson's would most of the time have his guy out with the first knockdown. no one was ever in any real condition to continue fighting after julian had someones bell rung. i'm surprised he never killed a guy to be honest, especially herol graham, i thought he was dead when i saw that ko............Comment
