McClellan never scored a KO beyond the 5th round and that was against a weak chinned Julian Jackson.
One can argue that his power was only dangerous in the first half of the fight, whereas Hearns and Jackson had knockouts in the early, middle, and late rounds of fights in their careers.

hearns was the only man to knock roberto duran out and he knocked him out cold.

i of course am not counting william joppy fight as duran was 47 at the time.

It's a toss up between Hearns & Jackson but if I had to go with one I'd say Jackson. I've never seen anyone literally KO people unconscious in so many fights. Jackson's brutal KO's over Herol Graham & Terry Norris really stick it in my mind where he just landed one punch at knocked the hell out of them each.

Jackson is the biggest puncher of the three imo.He was a fighter that people love a big puncher with a weak chin.

considering the lack of jackson's skills and chin, I would go with jackson. He made his career out of power alone, and left a few fighters senseless in the air in the process.

Hearns and G-Man had great, awesome power but they had so much more to go with it (especially Hearns).

Hearns wasn't a big puncher at all, he was all Timing.

McClellan had very heavy hands, but not exactly a one-punch KO guy.

Jackson was more about accuracy than power, all his KO's were right on the button.

Nigel Benn hit harder than those guys, before he moved up and lost his speed.

Didn't the weight training Nigel did contribute to his loss of speed.
Nigelito was really obssessed with that Tyson-like physique.

When he left Lynch, he stopped doing Lynch's stretching and speed work and so only then did the weight-training slow him down. He was doing long, draining workouts in Miami and lost a lot of 'zap', though still hit harder enough to whack Doug DeWitt's head from one side of the ring to the other (scarey) and knock Iran Barkley off his feet three times in under three minutes.
