It's impressive how good you can look against sub par opposition. RJ has some good/great wins, but there's too many fighters Roy failed to fight.

You're using triangle theories which we all know work 100% of the time.

so it's a triangle theory that reggie johnson has never had a clear cut loss(dominated) even AFTER he faced jones except for when he lost to jones himself?

is it a triangle theory to say mike mccallum gave everyone trouble and arguably won his fight against james toney AFTER facing roy jones where as when he faced jones he was thoroughly dominated?

Jones wasnt weight drained against Tarver and even if he was it doesnt matter, its his responsibility to get in the best condition possible, not his opponents.

Toney enters training camp weighing in at 210 lbs (his own fault) he has six weeks to get down to 168 lbs, as the fight draws close Jones threatens to pull out unless the weigh in is moved to the day of the fight. He did this so that Toney wouldn't have a chance to rehydrate properly, Toney agrees after barely making weight he gets hooked up to a IV and rehydrates up to 18 lbs. You say this isn't weight drianed, just because he wasn#t breathly through his mouth? But Jones was drained because he lost 5 lbs of muscle in 3 months?

Either way it doesnt matter the best guy won both fights, no excuses.

          lmao

McCallum lost Toney I and Toney III, he won Toney II

Johnson's win over Collins was controversial as well, it was a fight which could of gone either way

Triangle theory works both ways Tarver gave Jones a beating in Jones I, blasts him out in II in Jones II and almost ko's him in Jones III. After that he goes on to lose to the midget basher

I don't really knock Roy too much for his KO losses, because sometimes that happens and he has shown that he basically became shot after the Ruiz fight. Kind of how Hatton after the Mayweather fight wasn't the same, looked impressive against Malignaggi just like Jones did vs Lacy.

The main criticism I have for Roy is that he should never have fought Glen Johnson so soon after being KO'd and he has gone on too long, but when its all said and done we kinda discard losses fighters like Ali had late in their career and I think the same will happen with Roy. Prime Roy was an absolute FORCE!

Jones would've definitely beat Chris Eubank and Nigel Benn IMO and I would've picked him against Gerald McClellan too but that would've been his toughes fight. Gerald was a beast and I believe he beat Jones something like 3 or 4 times in the amateurs..
