Look it up. I'm sure there must be an article covering it; those usually go out shortly after they weigh-in takes place. I just remember being at home and watching it before I go into work which is at 3pm EST.

          That's messed up .
this has to be one of Roach's tricky strategies .

They need excuses for Saturday night, that's why. I can read them like a book, they're so easy it's not even funny anymore...

What makes this so unbeliveable??? If the guy can get the welterweight belt to be on the line at a catch weight of 145, A brand new made up belt and the super duper belt they announced yesterday, plus a whole host of other perks. It's obvious that Arum favors him. He's doing everything in his power to give Pac the advantages so he can set up that mega fight between Pac and Mayweather.

Weighins are usually at 3 or 4 pm for big fights. If it's at 6 then maybe that's what roach requested so that Cotto doesn't blow up or have more time

yes. that is right. the floyd-juan weigh-in was covered live on sportscenter so it had to be around 6pm.

the weigh-ins used to be early in the day. but ever since weigh-ins became big events (oscar/floyd, floyd/ricky, manny/ricky) they have moved the events to later in the afternoon. weigh-in used to be pretty quiet but now 5000 people attend. it helps the promotion of the fight, and it brings more fans to the casinos. which is why the casino paid the site fee to begin with.
