he did. idk why everyone is blaiming him for the fight being boring, valuev is the one who has a record of boring fights behind him. haye did what he had to do to win, and he did it with a broken hand. and yes it is broken or atleast very badly hurt. it swelled up to like three times the size of his other hand after the fight. ppl are just looking for excuses to hate the guy, i agree hes a douche but that doesnt make him less of a fighter.

I thought Haye performed exceptionally well, especially when considering the following points:

          * It was only his 3rd Heavyweight contest.
          * He fought the tallest and heaviest heavyweight champion of all time.
          * Valuev had never been KO'd or even stunned before, only gassed in early fights.
          * It was the first time Haye went the full 12 rounds in a title fight.
          * He was the first man to ever stun Valuev with a punch.
          * He had an injured hand for most of the fight.

          Mission accomplished and then some..

I was impressed with him, instead of going out there all guns blazing he fought a smart fight to get the win. Go watch his other fights, stop hating and you will actually see he's no boring fighter.
