He busted his hand in the second round - what else was David supposed to do? so technically the answer to the thread question is no - but due to the circumstances he should get a pass on this occassion.

Interesting and im not snipping at you here. I watched the fight today on my ipod (head phones so it blocking outside noise). But after the second round, my video had footage of haye on his stall talking to the trainer. You can clearly hear the trainer say 'are you alright?'. Haye instantly replies 'yeah fine........(looks concerned) i think i broke my hand. Its not 100% clear because of the commentry but you can hear it. Check it out

You saw in the last round what he could do, Valuev was scared of him whenever he threw combo's...i was wondering why haye wasnt throwing bigger power shots...
