I always thought Khan had very good abilities. So when Roach says Pac is much better it gives you an idea just where Pac is ability wise.

Khan is a young talented boxer but he has a questionable chin. If he wants to be an elite boxer, he needs to work on his defense and toughness.

His chin is weak but let's see if he can take better punches at this weight. He had to lose like 14 pounds to make 135 and he was never fat when not training. Now 140 seems to be comfortable and he is slowly learning to keep his hands off and box rather than brawl.

Everyone seems to forget that Manny also turned pro at a very young age and got knocked out a couple of times. Khan turned pro very young and suffered a knockout but got his career on track. So what makes them any different?
I'm not saying khan will go on to be great, i'm not a huge fan anyway but to write him off already is ****** because nobody would have guessed Pacquiao would go on to do what he's done back when he got knocked out off a bum in the Philippines.

Khan certainly has the skills, and natural ability to eventually become as polished as Pacquaio is, but maybe the chin will be his downfall at the very top. Saying that, Khan's punch resistance looked a lot better against Kotelnik and he took some flush shots without any problems. I envisage another move up to welterweight would make his punch resistance even stronger.
All in all, Khan is one of the brightest talents in the sport. He has a huge heart and some crazy skills. As a community, we should show him more respect.
Khan has a huge future ahead of him

As Khan's chin is questionable he needs to look to putting his opponent away as quickly as possible - without exposing himself needlessly to danger. The longer he is engaged with a bout the greater the danger of being sparked out. I don't think it would take much of an adjustment to raise his punching power from moderate to heavy. Maturity will help. There's been a lot of meat hung on that broad frame of his over the last couple of years. He just needs to sit down on his punches a bit more.

Much speed, some pop, no chin. He will have to play hide the button constantly at 140, because there are a bunch of ****ers there. Whats Freddie gonna do? Khan can't run around the block on his chin. Oh, he can win a championship, there are plenty around, but he's not destroying the opposition, he doesn't inspires fear in the ranks. Do the sit ups.
