Heavily doubt that Roach can imoprove his chin, before the Prescott fight he was buzzed by lesser opponents a number of times. He does have the physical attributes and speed to become a very good attraction. Maybe going up in weight might improve his chin a bit but I doubt that. The upcomming Salita fight is not gonna prove anything but its his mandatory fight, lets see who they pick for their next opponent.

The only way he will go up to stardom anywhere near Pac's level is beating the best in the world. Not talk and hype, his loss might have been a wake up call and he could benefit a lot from it
