If its what he really wants to do, then fair enough and good luck to him. But I honestly don't think he needs to fight anymore, hes got plenty of money, had a pretty good career (I don't care what anybody says winning a world title anyway is a great achievement, and the only times he lost were to the best P4P fighters out there, not saying hes the GOAT, but a very good career nonetheless), has a family and a promotional company he can concentrate on and look after.

for all the brits the thing is americans never really believed in hatton as evidenced by there being no hatton fans in the u.s. Brits saw him beat several people who they thought were good, but we thought they were bums too. of his 45 fights I'd say maybe 5 opponents were quality opponents and 2 of those sent him to the hospital. Don't count total fights because bums make you think someone is better than they are, case in point hatton. Tell me the top flight comp he's beaten and I'd gladly give him all the credit in the world

No worries, they are ****** and don't even know what they are talking about. They don't know that by discrediting Hatton because of those two losses, they are also, in a way, saying that anyone can beat Pacquiao/Mayweather and who ever doesn't, is overrated.

Marquez-Hatton should be the next logical HBO PPV fight. It is extremely easy to make because they are both GBP fighters and I would def buy this fight. It's an interesting match-up.

He is the most overrated fighter i have seen yet. and yeah his two losses were against the best but he got absolutely dominated he should have never even got the chance to fight them and make all that money. he is so lucky mayweather was a ***** and fought him and that his fans love him. i actually kinda dig the guy but he's not that good, bottom line. i personally thought collazo was better than him. and another problem i have is his style, its not that exciting he will throw 3 or 4 punch and then run into the guy and hold on. nothing but respect for the guy outside the ring as a boxing fan though, he doesnt do much for me.
STAY RETIRED and marquez should have never left lightweight and if he can still make weight he should stay at 135 and continue to beat the best of the best in that division.

Malignaggi, Tszyu, Urango, Collazo, Castillo, Maussa, Phillips, Tackie, Lazcano, These guys are all decent fighters and are not exactly a walk in the park. It takes a better than good fighter to beat these fighters.

Any one can get dominated by Mayweather and Pacquiao. Only Marquez didn't get dominated by Pacquiao. Pacquiao dominated David Diaz, De La Hoya, Morales, Barrera, so does that mean that they are overrated? Mayweather dominated Corrales, Marquez, Baldomir, Judah, Gatti, Castillo in the rematch, Jesus Chavez, Carlos Hernandez, Henaro Hernandez...but does that mean that they were overrated too?

If Pacquiao dominates Cotto, will Cotto be overrated too?

its not discrediting a fighter to say the guy you beat is a bum. If you lose to a guy who is supposedly awesome then you say he's a bum then that's another story. kostya tszyu was 40 when he lost to hatton, collazo was robbed, castillo was on the verge of retirement and he almost died in the ring twice. Is malignaggi his landmark victory? Juan Urango? I don't want to be a hater, just explain why he is good
