      I'd say top 20

Where would you rank him? choose on the poll and discuss
not even top 100. his 2 best wins are over 40 year old fighters. never beat a single atg in their prime. how could he even come close to top 30?

Beat a faded Chris Eubank and then coasted off that win for the next 6 years until his first 'meaningful' win over Byron Mitchell.
Que: another 3 years of piss-easy, killing-himself-to-make-168-and-not-go-to-175lb and home-turf-only defenses against complete bums until the win over, heh-heh-heh, Jeff 'Left-Hook' Lacy (the clue to that win is in the nickname, lol).

Two final wins over old man Hopkins and old-shot-man Jones Jr and you have a big-mouth Welsher who will go down in history as never leaving the shores to fight prime guys.

Easily the most overrated 'I've-never-been-beaten' fighter of the last 10 years.

Calzaghe is great no doubt but top 30, top 20.. are you knew to boxing?

Do you know or have you even seen the fighters who came before him?

I aint hating on Calzaghe because he is very good fighter but others in the past had a better legacy

Truthfully speaking I think he is the best SMW of ALL TIME but to be honest there is no history in that division like their is in the heavys, light heavys, middles etc

I think he is top 20 ATG. Considering his accomplishments at SMW and the rise in weight to LHW and the way he often made the opposition look- yeah he is good. Not the best by any means but his adaptability in the ring was unrivaled, he could see what needed to be done or changed while fighting and he would do it while others just got confused by his style. He looked awkward and you can say that he slapped if you want to but he won against top competition and never lost.

People can hate on him but he is the one that retired undefeated so there you have it.

Kessler was his best win. He does have skills and was a champ for over a decade (20+ defenses) and he retired undefeated. Those accomplishments should be considered even though he is overrated as far as his legacy and resume are concerned. So top 150 at the most.
where would you put him skill wise
