trust me pavlik vs williams will take place in 2010. I don't think it's smart fight p.will when you can't train properly either. Espino is a different story...pavlik can beat him with one good hand. I'm not making excuses for pavlik, but he fought miranda who was then thought of as the hardest hitter in the game...and then took on the undefeated middleweight champ of the world and came back from being straight wrecked to win by ko. Since then he has ko'd bums and stood in there with the great bhop who he went up to 170 to face. No reason for me to doubt pavlik's courage i've seen him face the best...the most dangerous...and he has my respect. Pwill it's going to happen and when he hits you with his overhand right flush on the chin...you're gonna know that you're not in there with carlos quintana....

these fights are another lose lose situation for pavlik. if he crushes the guy, or UD's them, people are gonna talk about how he beat a nobody, and if the guy actually DOES present a challenge, then people will be all over pavliks ass. pavlik and williams need each other, and i was really looking forward to going to that damn fight

I can't believe he has the gull to say that. He must think boxing fans are a joke and unintelligent. To go about this fight, try to say this is a true test, and also not address the Williams situation is a slap in the fans face. I have no idea how this guy could say these things or keep his head held up high and act as if he is a great champion. The best bet is for Kelly to fade away or at least take a break if he's not willing to fight the best. As boxing fans we need to really frown on this behavior, especially from the champions of the sport. Kelly, you should be ashamed. Ohio fight fans should boycott this fight and not show up, just to show we aren't putting up with this kind of stuff.

That's why champions are supposed to fight the best, not tune up after tune up. Williams is fighting Martinez which is a true test, while Kelly is taking another tune up. I disagree with you when speaking on they both need each other though. Pavlik needs Williams so he can prove himself but Williams no longer needs Pavlik. The only reason Williams needs to fight Pavlik is simply for the belt, so he can say I have the belt, I'm clearly top dog but it's not a must. To most people Williams is the man so he really doesn't even need the belt.

I remember Bob Arum back 2006 saying Lou dibella was fooling the public by having Jermaine taylor fighting people like Cory spinks and Kassim Ouma after tough fights with Hopkins (Twice) and Winky wright, Now Pavlik has been on a much more worse run and now is fighting Espino 2 weeks from a HBO date??? this proves what williams has been saying all along, pavlik was looking for an excuse to get of fighting him.....dec 5th was the date that pavlik was supposed to fight williams, from various accounts from pavlik's trainer he couldn't even make a fist, so now all of a sudden he's able to have a fight just 2 weeks later than the date of the 5th, come on........

Pavlik you've been exposed, i hope this clown that you are fighting, is granted some miracle from the GODS above and is somehow someway able to BEAT your azz.......
