Trust me Pavlik vs Williams will take place in 2010. I don't think it's smart fight P.Will when you can't train properly either. Espino is a different story...Pavlik can beat him with one good hand. I'm not making excuses for Pavlik, but he fought Miranda who was then thought of as the hardest hitter in the game...and then took on the undefeated Middleweight Champ of the world and came back from being straight wrecked to win by KO. Since then he has KO'd bums and stood in there with the great BHop who he went up to 170 to face. No reason for me to doubt Pavlik's courage I've seen him face the best...the most dangerous...and he has my respect. PWill it's going to happen and when he hits you with his overhand right flush on the chin...you're gonna know that you're not in there with Carlos Quintana....

I liked Pavlik a whole lot too and picked him to Beat Jermaine Taylor (as I think Edison Miranda would have done too at the time). Now it just seems like BULL**** to me...Come on man...Espino is a challenge for Pavlik? I guess he is now as Pavlik is too scared to fight anyone since his Hopkins disaster. Its all a scam. All this will make the fight worth more next year and Top Rank knows it and is planning on it. Neither Pavlik nor Williams have anywhere else to go that will produce more bank at 154 or 160 and they know it. No other big or even medium draws there. Not enough hype generated because all attention has be focused on the 168 tourney, Money's comeback, and Cotto/Pacman. The promoters know what they're doing. Smart money move.
