Morrison I think was really the last to carry that title.
And actually Morrison won a title- the WBO title by beating Foreman. Foreman went from that loss to the Moorer fight where he won and was considered The Champ. Something to think about...
But there are numerous whites who have held heavyweight titles since Marciano (Shultz,Botha, etc)- they just weren't undisputed champs -there are a lot less undisputed HW champs than you think- esp since Tyson. In the 90's someone always had one of the belts and another guy would have one, or maybe someone would have two- Moorer, Bowe, Lewis, Holyfield, Foreman, etc. Another something to think about...Comment

Disrespecting Ruiz because you don't like to watch hugging is ignorant. You arent a fighter, you don't know how it is to be in there with a guy who could unstuck your VW bug out of the mud with a left hook, understand? Take Bruno for example, they tested his power and it measured around 0.63 ton. When your brain is on the line, it means that the way you see the world, your mother****ing sense of smell, taste, and knowledge of who you are, friends, family, memory, is all on the line too. you risk it all just by going between those ropes into that square circle, looking at people like McClellan who took one bad shot behind the head, one bad punch made him a half deaf blind vegatable for life, left to be cared for by relatives. With this in mind, developing a hugging style that wins fights isn't exactly a bad idea. He overpowers the tendons before they hit him, weakening his opponent's punches, it's actually quite an interesting style to watch if you know what he's doing. When he's moving in and 'hugging' as you say, he is really probably not only blocking punches but weakening the punching muscles of the other guy, and also tiring the other guy out by leaning all over him. You simply see it as hugging because you are 90% of what the world is composed off, the ignorant masses, and my purpose is to 'correct' your thinking, to save you future 'corrections' from others, so don't take this as a flame.Originally posted by SnoopySmurfIf I was to become a fighter, I certainly wouldn't be hugging people - that's not fighting.
He's a bum. Say it with me. John Ruiz = bum. Intiende?
I suggest you show fighters in general more respect, hopefully after this post you'd even show Strickland some respect, maybe I taught you something.Comment
