So both Klitckos are white. Nicolae Valuev is white. Andrew Golota is white. The guy that almost fought Vlad but pulled out is white. Vitali is the first white heavyweight champion since Rocky Marciano.


Also Joe Mesi and Ty Fields are white. Only Joe Mesi and Ty Fields are reffered to as the great white hopes. Why is this? With so many white people in the top ten, why are only Americans referred to as the great white hope? Do white Europeans not count???

I don't think your right. Also Ruiz is tecknically caucasian, he still is not white. He also is not the linear champion. He has a belt, but its not the important one. I am sure that white people have held heavyweight belts since Rocky, just not the important one.

Ruiz is of Puerto Rican decent. Who cares what color they are? They are all weak, the only legit Heavy Weight right now is Viatli, and even he seems robotic at times. We need another Tyson to getting things more exciting the HW division is falling down the drain.
