Will a victory over Miguel Cotto be enough to make Manny Pacquiao the fighter of the decade?

    I vote yes.

If he doesn´t, Cotto might be one of the contenders, but I would vote Calzaghe.

The winner of Mayweather-Pacquiao would be the fighter of the Decade..

Mayweather did a lot in the early part of the decade..as where Manny was establishing his name..now that Manny's on top..Mayweather's doing some suspect ****..

so definitely would determine the FOTD if Pacquiao were to win..

Cotto became Pro in 2001 and has accomplished a lot..but not to the level of Mayweather or Pacquiao.

i would think so ... i dont think zags would be even if pac loses i think he'd deserve it more then jc. jc basically only stepped up in late 07 and retired in 08 after beating a shot rjj.... not the best way to go out imo.

I say yes. This would be a huge win for Manny. Mayweather and "fighter of the decade" doesn't even belong in the same sentence.

I thought people would respect Calz a lot more after his ¨victories¨ over RJJ and Hopkins.

Personally, I scored the Hopkins fight for Hopkins. Still the judged gave it to Calz. It was a close fight.

I give him a lot of credit because even though he was never as talented as RJJ, he knew how to never give up and overwhelm his opponents with sheer output round after round.
