cotto is human and has been through alot especially with that cheater margacheato. he can not take head shots anymore. pac can't hurt him but mayweather can easily.cotto needs a stationary target and thats something that floyd's not. he will counter pick off cotto all night.

margirito but no probs to floyd beating baldimir. baldimir beat the man judah who beat the man spinks who beat the man mayaorga who beat the man forest who beat the man mosley. so thats your logic on why mosley is number 1 then floyd is number 1 still.

mayweather beats cotto because cotto makes mistakes and floyd is the best at taking advantage at ppl mistakes. he will not abandon what works and he will abandon what doesnt work. like judah fought cotto and was doing good but he abandon what works and allow cotto to press forward and work his jab. mosley just fights on instinct. some fights he want to throw combos and bounce others he wants to be a power puncher. but has no defense. for god sakes he was getting out boxed by mayroga lol. floyd is the most consistant boxer in the world. it wotn be an easy fight with cotto but i feel int he end floyd would get his hands raised. and floyd beats the **** out of pac hands down.

I still put him at number 1. yall give probs to mosley beating

When Floyd retired Cotto became the #1 guy. Margarito beat Cotto and Shane beat Margarito. Which makes Mosley the #1 guy.
Let me ask you this since you have Floyd #1. If Lennox Lewis comes out of retirement and beats Chad Dawson. Does Lewis automatically gets the #1 spot in your eyes? Lewis retired as #1 so by your logic he can fight Dawson and reclaim that spot right?
What about Calzaghe can he fight Mosley at 168 and reclaim his #1 spot? I mean I am just unsing your logic here bro.
Mosley is the #1 WW. He beat the man who beat the man. Floyd retired and thus retired his claim to the title. Floyd could get it back. He just needs to beat Shane. Cotto should be ranked the #2 guy and Floyd no higher than #3. Truth of the matter. Floyd vs the winner of Cotto-Pac would be fighting for the #2 spot at WW. Shane is the man at WW until somebody beats him or RETIRES.

First of all, Shane Mosley is not some no-name. He's been in countless big fights, is well-known and is also the world's #1 welter. And you're asking how this is relevant to Floyd? Get a clue. What you need to ask yourself is, how is him wanting a big fight exclude him from big fight discussion? Who cares if he's "desperate?" That's just an opinion, anyway.
Second, this notion that Baldomir was a bigger name than Margarito is just false. Margarito had been fighting on HBO and Showtime for years. He had headlined PPV's and established a strong fanbase on the west coast. This wasn't some unknown from Argentina, he was a long-time champ backed by Top Rank that had nearly every one of his fights televised. Your ignorance doesn't make him unknown.
As for the 10 million dollar guarantee, that's crock. I'd like to see you provide a link of this - you know, facts? He was guaranteed 8 mil and a share of PPV, no different than his offer to fight the nobody Margarito. I'll gladly provide proof.
The only reason in Floyd's favor as to why a Margarito fight didn't happen is because Arum would've been involved. Well..if what Floyd says is true. Because if it's because of Bob, how does he plan on facing the Pac-Cotto winner? Well there's always Mosl...oh wait.

Floyd will probably go after Cotto and call him out if he beats Pacquiao, and Cotto won't answer the challenge. I'm almost sure of it.
